As they will sit in the soil for a long time, they're an ideal crop for the allotment, although many have fantastic foliage that makes them an ideal vegetable to grow in flower borders or an ornamental potager.growing broccoliHedgehogs As Petshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08395042862390788472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1774023343438544596.post-50959229410965224882009-07-03T10:27:16.839-05:002009-07-03T10:27:16.839-05:00I'm not help as I don't know anything abou...I'm not help as I don't know anything about crape myrtle but I see you've already done a search. Hope your tree has a lot of blooms this year. :)lilymomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09921110001037666746noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1774023343438544596.post-74395716217373494532009-07-03T10:04:01.435-05:002009-07-03T10:04:01.435-05:00@Mom - yes, I did a quick search and found that ma...@Mom - yes, I did a quick search and found that mature crape myrtle trees do exfoliate their bark. As long as the tree is otherwise healthy and blooming, it is perfectly normal. :)Laurenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08543086510648946180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1774023343438544596.post-47867922479347755102009-07-03T09:08:39.841-05:002009-07-03T09:08:39.841-05:00I know I've seen it a lot on cm, but now wheth...I know I've seen it a lot on cm, but now whether that's a sign of illness I don't know. (and yes I'm sure a 30 second net search would produce an answer, but I'll pass on that right now) I can't recall ever associating it with a cm that sure enough, died soon. So we can see what you find out, but I suspect it's either normal, typical or at least not life threatening.Lauren's Mumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03293809359838915455noreply@blogger.com
